bio

Sarah Lucja Ratsoy is a multi-disciplinary visual artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s BFA program in visual arts, and an MFA candidate at the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design (NSCAD).

In her video, photography, and web-based art, Sarah creates illusory caricatures. Sarah’s work materializes the formlessness of themes such as mental health, disembodiment, and the turbulent landscapes of coming of age as a digital native.
